    Hey Toon,

I really like your new shots, the colors are amazing! I think that colors on my photo's are quite pale... but hat depends on the camera I guess. Are you using the auto white-balance in your pics?

    Yow Frank!

Nah, colors shouldn't be camera specific, well at least not that much. I think you can capture vivid colors.. by shooting vivid colors!
I shoot my RAW files since a few months in AdobeRGB color space, but this is only to have the widest color gamut for printing. The photo's on my website are all sRGB.

On Nikon's you have something called 'picture control' A setting where you can adjust color saturation, contrast, hue etc. Kinda like using a particular film such as Fujifilm Velvia.
However I leave it set to the default standard setting and prefer to to my color corrections in post production. (Adobe Lightroom)
I almost always leave my white balance set to auto, another advantage shooting RAW. Lightroom's RAW converter allows you to set the balance as desired for one photo and than sync all the other photo's from a set, very cool.
Indoors however under certain lights I set my white balance. I just found a very cool trick on my Nikon to walk through the different WB settings without taking pictures.. in Live View mode.

Anyway, about this particular photo I can tell you that this is pretty much what came out my camera. No post production magic here..

Hi Hector, nice to hear from ya!
This one was taken on a funfair in Turin. It was already late but I made a big U-turn when passing by, I have been looking for a funfair for the whole winter but never found something decent.
I got a whole bunch of shots with interesting movements, but liked the colors on this one.
    Laters.

Taking these kind of pictures during the night is so much fun. Good result!
